teldash vs ElevenLabs by hand

This is not a rival: it is what most agencies do today. For each question a client asks, the page shows how you answer it by hand and what teldash replaces, and says plainly when by hand is enough.

teldash has not launched yet. Its column says what is built today and what comes before or after launch.

What your client asks

4 rows
"How many minutes did we use?" teldash: Calls, minutes and after-hours, per client Built ElevenLabs: The agents dashboard, filtered by agent

teldash

Calls per day, minutes, outcomes, answered rate and the share after hours, for each agent and for the whole client.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs' agents analytics shows call count, total and average duration and total cost, and filters by agent, so with one agent per client it answers the question. The workspace usage view breaks credits down by voice, product or API key and exports a CSV; its docs name no per-agent or per-client breakdown there.

"Why is this invoice higher?" teldash: Base fee, included minutes, overage and setup fee Before launch ElevenLabs: Rebuilt from an export, in your own sheet

teldash

Connecting your Stripe account is built. Plans with a base fee, included minutes, overage and a setup fee, and the invoices they make, come before launch. Installments and coupons come later.

Not built yet; it comes before launch.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs bills your account, not your client: its invoice is a PDF sent to your account email, and the help page does not say it breaks charges down by agent or client. Past your plan's minutes, extra minutes cost $0.08 each on its agents pricing page. A client's overage is a sum you make from the exports and your own prices.

Sources

"Is the agent picking up after hours?" teldash: After-hours share, per client Built ElevenLabs: Export the calls and sort them by hour

teldash

teldash marks each call that came outside the client's opening hours and shows the share, for each agent and for the whole client.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs' API lists calls with their start time and its dashboard filters by date range. The docs we read name no opening-hours or after-hours filter and no CSV export of the call list, so you pull the calls with a script and compare them with the client's hours yourself.

"Can I hear the call?" teldash: Transcript, summary and recording of each call Built ElevenLabs: In your workspace; sending it on is up to you

teldash

Your client sees each call of its own agents with the transcript, the analysis and the recording, which teldash copies to its own storage.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs keeps conversation transcripts and audio for 2 years by default, configurable for each agent, and a post-call webhook can send the transcript, the analysis and the call's audio to your own endpoint. Getting a recording to a client is yours to do.

Your client's access

2 rows
A place for the client to sign in teldash: Your own address on teldash.app Built ElevenLabs: Seats in your workspace

teldash

Each agency gets its own address on teldash.app, such as youragency.teldash.app, where your team and your clients sign in.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

An ElevenLabs workspace is a shared space for a team: members take Full or Basic seats, extra Full Seats cost money, and agents can be shared as Viewer, Editor or Admin. We found no page about a view meant for your clients, and the members page does not say whether people outside your organization can be invited.

Keeping clients apart teldash: In the application and in the database Built ElevenLabs: Keys and groups you set up yourself

teldash

Each client's data is kept apart twice: by the application and by the database itself (row-level security). Automated tests try every read across clients and agencies.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

Usage can be filtered by API key, billing groups cap the credits of a group of users, and resources are shared with a user or a group. The docs we read say nothing about keeping different clients' agents or data apart inside one workspace; linking several workspaces under one billing account is an Enterprise feature.

Billing

2 rows
Invoicing your client teldash: Base fee, included minutes, overage and setup fee Before launch ElevenLabs: Your own invoicing tool

teldash

Connecting your Stripe account is built. Plans with a base fee, included minutes, overage and a setup fee, and the invoices they make, come before launch. Installments and coupons come later.

Not built yet; it comes before launch.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs sends its invoices to you, not to your clients. Invoicing your clients is whatever tool you already use, with the figures you prepared by hand; the tool, its fees and its tax handling are yours.

Margin per client teldash: Planned for after launch Later ElevenLabs: Your cost from ElevenLabs, your price from your sheet

teldash

teldash already records what each call cost at your provider, for your team only. A margin view per client, that cost next to what you charge, is planned for after launch.

Not built yet; it is on the roadmap for after launch.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs' agents analytics shows total and average cost, and each post-call webhook carries the call's cost. Putting that next to what you charge each client is a spreadsheet job.

Security

1 row
Change record teldash: Every change, with who and when Built ElevenLabs: An audit log, on Enterprise only

teldash

Every change made in teldash is recorded with who made it and when, and each client can read the record of its own account.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs records the administrative actions of a workspace, over 100 endpoints, in an audit log that only Enterprise workspaces have and that is read through its API with a key. The docs say nothing about showing it to your clients.

Cost and terms

3 rows
ElevenLabs' terms for reselling teldash: The same: your own accounts Built ElevenLabs: Its OEM terms apply

teldash

teldash runs on your own ElevenLabs, Retell or Vapi accounts, so each provider's terms apply to you exactly as they do by hand. teldash does not change them and is not legal advice.

Built and tested; teldash has not launched yet.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs' OEM terms cover bundling or sublicensing its services to your own end users: only business entities qualify, the Free, Starter, Creator and Pro plans are expressly barred, and each end user needs an agreement that names ElevenLabs as a third-party beneficiary. Read them with your plan in front of you; this page is not legal advice.

What it costs teldash: Not set yet Before launch ElevenLabs: Only your ElevenLabs plan

teldash

teldash has not launched and has no price yet. People on the waitlist hear it first.

ElevenLabs

By hand adds no tool: you pay ElevenLabs for the plan and its minutes. Its agents pricing page lists Pro at $99 a month with 1,238 minutes, Scale at $299 with 3,738 and Business at $990 with 12,375, and $0.08 a minute beyond them; language-model costs are extra and telephony comes from your carrier. What it costs you is your time, every month, for every client.

Scripting it yourself teldash: Planned for after launch Later ElevenLabs: An API and post-call webhooks

teldash

teldash's own screens use the API agencies will get, but keys and documentation for agencies come after launch.

Not built yet; it is on the roadmap for after launch.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs' API lists conversations with filters on agent, start time, duration and outcome, and its post-call webhooks send each call's transcript, analysis, duration and cost to your endpoint. A script that turns them into a client's usage is yours to write and to keep running.

Each row opens to its detail and its source. ElevenLabs' prices are the monthly ones on its agents pricing page, in US dollars. Both ways run on your own ElevenLabs account, so its terms apply to both.

IN 30 SECONDS

Which one fits your agency?

Choose ElevenLabs by hand if…

  • You have one or two clients. The agents dashboard filtered by agent, a look at usage each month and an email are enough, and a portal adds little.
  • You invoice each client with a tool you already use, and the sums are short.
  • You work out your margin in your own sheet, where it already lives.
  • You like to script: the API and the post-call webhooks give you each call, its cost and its analysis.
  • You want to spend nothing beyond your ElevenLabs plan.
  • You build and tune your agents: that stays in the ElevenLabs dashboard with either option, and teldash does not replace it.

Choose if…

Built Everything here is built and tested. teldash has not launched yet.

  • Your clients ask how many minutes they used or whether the agent answers at night, and you would rather they look it up.
  • You want clients to hear their own calls and read the transcripts without you sending files.
  • You have more than a couple of clients, each with its own people, and want them kept apart by the application and the database.
  • You want every change recorded, and each client able to read the record of its own account.
